The Hampshire Companies, a prominent real estate asset manager and investment firm, has named G William Group (GWG) its Owner’s Representative for its industrial portfolio in New Jersey.
GWG will represent the business interests of Hampshire throughout the construction process to revitalize several industrial properties. A team of subject matter experts from GWG, specializing in value engineering and building information management, will coordinate closely with design-build construction partners on project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver the projected financial return on investment.

Hampshire’s portfolio holdings include several joint ventures to reimagine existing commercial warehouse sites in prime locations for regional distribution. These strategic initiatives address shortages of industrial Class A properties and seek improved asset valuation through site renovation, repurposing, or ground up redevelopment.
One of these ventures calls for the demolition of an existing aging structure to make room for two modern distribution facilities with improved spatial utilization. Site plans feature additional truck bays and expanded height clearances to handle increased volume. The use of BIM modeling and forecasting techniques throughout the process enhances the potential for asset value capture.
GWG’s new relationship with Hampshire Companies as owner’s representative will include current and future property development and other value-enhancing initiatives.
